A collaboration between the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) and Scentory
Crafted for “Art Personalised: Masterpieces from the Hong Kong Museum of Art” exhibition
Art is all a matter of personality (by Marcel Duchamp), so are scents.
In the “Art Personalised: Masterpieces from the Hong Kong Museum of Art” exhibition, nearly 100 artworks are selected from the four core collections from the HKMoA. They are categorised into four personality types to present a multi-faceted world of art, including Adventurer, Perfectionist, Elegance and Fashionista. Artists Angela Yuen and Bovey Lee are also invited to create new works that tell the moving stories of their encounters with the museum collection. The exhibition runs from 30 June 2023.
Collaborated by the HKMoA and Scentory, a total of 5 scents are specially crafted for the four personality types and the artists’ new creations of the exhibition, for you to experience a special and personalised aesthetic journey.

Scent design by Scentory
1/ Audacious: A concoction of cedarwood, pine and vanilla, giving a touch of distinctive smoky scent for the adventurers.
2/ Poised: Created for the perfectionists with the rare blue lotus, myrrh and ylang-ylang, as a mark of nobility and refinement.
3/ Ethereal: Made from fir and lavender for a calm and lasting touch and elegant persons like you.
4/ Exotic: Blended with amber, nag champa and rose, for an enticing and unforgettable aroma. A perfect match for fashionista like you.
5/ Soulful: A scent made of sage, shiso and yuzu, co-creating a refreshing aftertaste with the new works by the artists.
